Arashi Takeda vs Dresden DreamFox (Dresden's Victory)

LETS DO THIS THING DRESDEN!




Setting
Location: Roman Colosseum
Time: 2:00 P.M.

Dresden looked out of his gate at the other side. He could vaguely see the outline of the challenger. Dresden knew nothing of his opponent. He looked around and saw the imposing building that was the Colosseum. He looked himself up and down to see if he was ready for this battle. He felt the familiar weight of Amoracchius at his side. He gripped the hilt. He had left off his cloak as it would be hindrance in this battle. He closed his eyes and felt the magic of the area. There wasn't much because of this area being a more barbaric area. However there was residual magic from the deaths but not enough. He glanced at the sky and noticed it was only a little bit after noon... maybe 2 o' clock. He doubt he could wear his opponent down that long let alone live that long. He would have to try to end it quickly. The gate slid down and he entered the arena. He centered himself in the middle of the arena and bowed towards where his opponent was. Enough for the enemy to see him but not enough that the enemy could even think of a sneak attack why he wasn't looking. He then pulled out his sword, a great broadsword. The sword started shining with a weary glow. He rested the sword's point against the ground and leaned easily upon it. He kept himself calm and hoped he could talk his way out of this.

Arashi, the challenger of a Unknown man. Standing alone inside a gate sealed chamber awaiting the time to enter the playing field. Looking toward the other side of the arena trying to see if he could recognize who he was about to fight. But he couldn't quite tell. Knowing that this gate could open at any second Arashi readied himself for battle. He tightened his belt around his kimono, he tied his long hair back so it wouldn't get in his way, and he prayed to his mother while holding his necklace saying I hope your watching over me right now... The gate lowered slowly on both ends. They both walk forward. Arashi now can see who the man he must defeat is and finally this showdown can begin. Arashi gets a respectful distance away from his opponent and Bows gracefully, for samurai's have their honor to uphold. Looking deep into the soul of his opponent he knew that he wanted to avoid this fight, maybe talk things through but we both knew that that wasn't going to happen. And then Arashi gets into a fighting stance ready to fight when the sound of the bell would ring.

Dresden built up magic for his necromancy spell. He ran away from Arashi to give him time to activate the spell and planted his hand on the ground. He instantly released his hand and jumped back. He saw purplish symbols spreading on the ground. He hoped that the spell would work like it is supposed to. It was mid daylight and necromancy wasn't his strongest magic but he was in the Roman Colosseum. Many people had died here. Under the circumstances he was just barely expecting a lion to come out. When the fully armed gladiator rose from the ground Dresden became excited. His spell had worked better than he expected. The gladiator threw himself at Arashi and swung for his neck. This be over quicker than I expected.

Arashi sees his opponent summon what it looked to be a Gladiator from the dead people inside the Colosseum. The Gladiator charges straight at Arashi and swings his weapon at his neck. Arashi quickly ducks down to dodge the attack completely and then he swings his katana attempting to cut his legs off to immobilized the Gladiator. "Take This!!!"

Dresden saw the opportunity. He released a spell he had used since he was a child. He used air magic to pull the gladiators sword to him. He caught the sword and prepared to defend himself and figure out his next attack.



Gladiator: The gladiator felt his legs being separated from his body. And saw them disintegrate into the ground. Feeling a sudden wind pick up and pull his sword towards his summoner the warrior feels angered. First he loses his legs and now his sword. The man used the last of his strength to pull himself towards the man and fling himself at his neck. Once their he tries to snap it though he doubts he can.

Arashi, having chopped off the legs of the gladiator, jumps back a bit and sees the gladiator leap at him. The gladiator grips his neck tightly but Arashi finds a way out of that grip and jumps backwards. After doing this he leaps toward the gladiator with a strong push off the ground. He pulls up his blade and makes a downward swing to try to finish off the summoned gladiator by chopping him in half this time.

Dresden caught the sword and tested it's weight. Not his usual style but it would work. He then leaned against the wall catching his breath but in a position that could easily be gotten away from if the man decided to charge him.

Gladiator: His grasp was broken but he had managed to dodge the sword. Not knowing what else to do he went after the man's neck again.

Arashi missed his attack and the gladiator retaliated and went for his neck once again. The gladiator this time was successful. With this attack the gladiator had broken Arashi's neck, therefore ending the battle.
