Saito Vs. Kaladin

Kaladin was hiking out one day when he stumbled upon a cave. Following the tunnel he came to a room. Something was odd about this place. It seemed so familiar, then it clicked. He was in the Mines Of Moria!!! Looking around he seen a dead goblin. Kaladin decided to take a look around the room for any weapons encase something bad is going to happen.

Saito was running away from some villagers that he had tryed to rob for some food, but got caught. He traveled off the trail and when he thought he had lost them he hid behind a tree to rest. After taking a breather he lifted his head up to find something strange appearing from the side of the mountain. Once he got close enough to investigate he found that it was a cave. Thinking he might find something of value inside he made his way inside. Saito searched around the hard stone floor and the walls to see if he could find anything, and he thought he saw something in the corner after about 5 minutes of walking in the huge tunnel. He got closer and found a goblin sitting on the ground covered in blood. Thinking he was dead, he tryed to pickpocket him. Then suddenly the goblin grabbed his arm and pulled him close, telling Saito to run in a faint voice. Then the goblin passed away. Freightened, Saito thought about leaving, but decided to keep going because you never want to trust a goblin. Saito completely forgot about pickpocketing the now dead goblin and continued on through the tunnel, eventually coming upon a big room. At first glance he saw and amazing crafted stone cave that looked familiar in a way, and he also seen a few goblins lying on the ground just like the last one he found. He wasn't really keen on trying to repeat what just happened with the last one though. From the look of this room, Saito could tell something was not right with it. Something foul was in the air, and for once it wasn't just his body odor.

Saito
Encounter Die - 13 - Behind Saito a growl is heard, not quite in the same room, but very close. Probably the cause of the goblins' deaths.
Luck Die - 24 - A weapon is on the floor in the room
Weapon Die - 6 - Special: You find a naginata, also known as a sword spear. This special weapon combines the grace and reach of a spear with the power and force of a sword. It is as long as a normal spear but the last 2-3 feet of the spear is a sword blade.

Enemy is determined to be Giant Hawk. The speed and grace of a hawk, only larger. These fierce predators are looking at anything moving as prey and can catch even the slightest movement. While poor defense and health they make up for it with strong attack and speed.

As of now the eagle does not know of Saito's existence, and it outside of his current room.

As Kaladin searches for weapons he comes across a set of daggers. He picks them up and slashes the air to test them out. Kaladin starts looking around for sheaths for the daggers and some other items that would be useful. While looking Kaladin examines the goblin to see how it died. There was a stab wound in the gut and an arrow in the knee. "So it appears the arrow took him down and the stab killed him. I better be on guard i have no idea what else is lurking in this place

Amazed by the room he wandered in apon, he started searching around to maybe find something useful. Then suddenly he hears a loud growl that sounded close by but didn't seem like it came from the current room he was in. He walked foward while keeping his senses clear and focused he looks around and soon found a body of an orc lying on the floor. Just in case, he checked the pulse of the orc and confirmed his death. Releaved, he started searching the dead orc's body. He found nothing in particular that was useful, but then looked up and a little farther away from the orc was a weapon that the orc dropped. Saito walked over to it and grabbed it. He instantly knew that it was some kind of polearm, or a spear of some sort. He's never weilded something as amazing as this before so he tested it out a little bit, he acted as it was a bow staff and started twirling it around and lundging it forward on occasion. After he had a feel for it, he then realized that he had no sheath for it or anything to put it on his back. So he carried it back to the orcs body, and self-consciencely thanked him for the weapon then noticed that he had 3 slash marks on his back which was probably the reason for his death. Saito didn't like the look of that, and from that previous growl he figures whatever did that to him is probably still lurking around.
