The Prophecy of Destruction

Dresden watched as the little cat-person protected himself. He released the shield spell and felt the energy flow back into him. Next, he saw him lose a wing. The monster was going to be taken down. So he released the other spell. He then picked up his sword and walked around the creature to position well behind the creature. Worse case scenario, if no one could get to it, then he would just kill it from behind.

Arashi spots the man, that he saw was sleeping in the bar, right behind the Spider Eater and he was holding a nice sword. He finally gets fully charged with his Ki blast in his right hand.

He knows he won't be able to get too close to it if it's trying to attack him so he yells at the three men from the bar saying, "Hey don't just stand there, distract it so i can get my attack off!" After yelling that toward them he started running toward the creature hoping someone would distract it so he could pull of his move.

Seeing the brute man form the bar running towars the monster Zeek decides to bring out his 2 throwing knives and throws both of them both towards the head. he quickly starts running towards the giant creature and fires 2 arrows at the body hoping to cause the monster to lose focus on the running brute. after getting close but out of striking distence Zeek stops to see what effect it had on the creature

Blade hears the man with the sword "this ought to be fun" he thought to him self,and dashes off at a super fast pace( <--- maybe not that fast) trying to confuse the monster.

What tactics was this? One man was running at him? It would be an easy kill. The monster suddenly feels a sharp pain in one of it's mandible. A throwing knife had hit it and bounced off but left the creature jarred. He suddenly yanked his head toward the attacker. But the attacker was too far. Suddenly two pains flared up on it's lower body. The creature was a chicken. Weak. Had to stay away out of fear. The puny being ran towards the creature. The spider eater jerked it's head to the side and snapped its mandibles at the human. It nearly had him but it was out of reach. On the other side of the creature the smallest human started running. Between the two humans the spider eater was becoming very annoyed. It tried to turn but lost its balanced and almost fell. The spider eater watched the two humans trying to figure out how to catch its lunch.

Dresden watch the other members of what seemed to be an excellent party. He pulled out his sword. Its sheath was well oiled and it made no sound coming out. He readied a stance he rarely used because it required a creature much larger than himself. He pointed the sword downwards and prepared to start running. He poured all his faith in magic into the sword. It started glowing with a eerie light. Waiting for the appropriate time he ran and jumped onto the spider's back. He slammed his sword into the rear side of the spider and started running along its back. He could feel the sword's extra sharpness tearing the spider in half. While running he saw the final man from the bar with his own attack about to take the spider by surprise. This would not last long at all. Checkmate.

Arashi see's that his call out to everyone was a success because of he see's the archer shoot 2 arrows at it and the kid run around to distract it. Then out of nowhere he see's the other man run up the back of the spider eater slicing it up pretty good. "Alright!! Here I go!!" yells Arashi. He is less then 20 feet away from it..15..10..5.. and then he hits directly, with full force, straight in the face of the big Spider Eater! And a beam of energy rushes all the way through it's body.

The Spider Eater fell to the ground with a big thud.

After seeing the man who was sleeping in the bar cut the monster and the brute of a man punch the monster in the face. Zeek decides to grab his throwing knives and starts to walk over to a building and disappears into the shadow and covers himself in his cloak to watch what the people do.

He jumped out of the way of the creature as it fell "woah there"

Dresden watched the creature fall. It was definitely dead. He walked back into the bar and sat into his seat from earlier. He then ordered another drink (non-alcholic because he doesn't drink). He sipped his drink and watched the people slowly walk back into the bar. He then pulled out his journal and started writing today's experiences.

He sees the archer disappear into the shadows, the short neko was doing something next to the dead Spider Eater, and sees the other guy walk back into the bar. From using some of his demonic energy he was tired, so he walks back to the bar. He looked in the corner where he saw that man that helped kill the Spider Eater. So he walked over and sat down next to him. He stares straight at the man. "My name is Arashi, who are you?" he asks. "Maybe you can help me out?" he imposes.

As the bartender was cleaning the mugs he watches the men come back into the bar. After they left to go outside someone left him letters to give to the men. The bartender walks over to the two men sitting at the table and addressed the man in the robe writing something down in a journal. "This letter is addressed to you." and hands the man in the dark cloak the letter.
Turing a bit he sees the man with the scar on his face and said "This is addressed to you" Then hands him the letter and walks away


Outside a tavern patron walks over to the short cat like creature and said "This is a letter addressed to you" After handing the letter he walks away.


Narrator: The letters are all the same and they read "Meet at the crossroads to the Keep on Shadowfell. A group of four shall form with one more to join.

Zeek watches the two men walk back into the bar and heads to recover his horse to ride to another town. As he was walking to his horse a hawk had dropped a scroll in Zeek's path. Zeek reached down and and picked it up and read it. "Meet at the crossroads to the Keep on Shadowfell. A group of four shall form with one more to join."
Zeek looked confused because it was an odd letter but decided maybe it would a good idea to go.


Zeek mounted his horse and rode off to crossroad of the keep on Shadowfell

Blade gets the letter he reads it and thinks "Shadowfell why does that sound so familiar?" he sits there and thinks i know ive heard it before... with an expression on his face he realizes hes been there before "a very shady town to lead me too huh? i wonder why it says to go there sounds interesting" he dashes off in the direction of the town speeding by Zeek.

Dresden picks up his letter and reads it. He then glances at the other man's letter and sees it is the same.

My name is Dresden and I it looks like we are going to be helping each other. I'm also guessing the other two from the fight are coming with us.

He clips his sword to his belt. Dresden then gets up and pulls his cloak around him.

If you are coming we better get going.

He then leaves the bar without looking back. He goes to the crossroads and waits for the others that will be meeting him. And ponders who the fifth member is and when they will be meeting.

Rereading his letter again and again Arashi thought, "Who could have written these letters.. and for what reason?" As he thought that he saw Dresden walk out of the bar. "I guess there's no point in staying here any longer.." he said. Arashi got up and walked out the door. He glanced around to see if there were anyone suspicious looking around here. He couldn't spot anyone in particular so he walked toward the crossroads and met up with Dresden but still not completely trusting him. He waited for the rest of the group to show.

Zeek watches from the shadows as people start showing up, hes wondering why people are here and for what reason they all got a letter. it seems that something is wrong or an adventure is waiting to unfold

Blade running, runs by and notices people at a crossroad he also notices they're the same people that took down the large creature he stops and asks them why they are waiting there all their answers had to do with the letter they all got. he wanted to get moving though. "lets get moving" he says impatiently

Flint began to walk down the path towards Shadowfell to look for his contact. he had been doing alot of mercenary work lately and this was suppossed to be a very big job. he had even heard rumors of an artifact from his hometown. As he walked along the road he saw a group of adventurers on the cross road just outside town and as he approached he asked "Who are ye and what do you want?"

The lizard like creatures looked around and counted their numbers. They had around 20 lizardkin and their were only 5 mortals. However, the mortals looked capable. They were afraid. They decided to turn around. As they turned around though their "leader" Irontooth the Goblin stood their.

Get back to ye positions ye yellow bellied cowards he nearly screamed.

Not loud enough for the adventurers to hear but enough to get the Lizardkin in place.

The lizard people were arrayed into small band around the area. The largest a group of twenty and the seargent waited ahead behind a rock and two other bands of 5 waited on the adventurer's flanks in the woods. The two smaller flanks attacked from the sides while the larger group waited for them to weaken the enemy enough.

Dresden listened to the man and heard a small sound to his right. Curiosity took charge and he ignored the man completely. He watched to the right to see if he could see the animal that made the sound. This area was new to him and he wanted to see a little of its wildlife. He watched carefully and listened closely. He noticed no movement and then all of the sudden five creatures leaped out. They looked like lizards yet they were 2 and a half feet tall at max height. He knew what these creatures were. They attack in ambushes and used trickery. He got lost in thought and just stood there, not preparing himself or warning the others. He tried figuring out their names. Kizards... no... Kolbs... No.. Kobolds... yes. That's it. They are called Kobolds. But they are supposed to be more cowardly than this. I wonder what's driving them. Then remembering courtesy he screamed

KOBOLD AMBUSH!!!

He then pulled Amoracchius out of its sheath and took upon himself the glow of a spellsword. He then rushed right to the group he saw attacking.

Arashi seen everyone had finally arrived at the destination announced in the letter, and we headed out already. And for some reason he had a bad feeling that we were being watched or something. He unsheathed his katana and it was glowing dark red. "I knew it," he thought. Looking around he couldn't really see anyone that was maybe hiding from them. Arashi turned to his left side and saw some what it looked to be Kobolds with the intent to kill us. After seeing them he noticed Dresden started rushing in with his sword unsheathed as well. "I got the left side!" he exclaimed. Pushing off the ground really hard he flew forward toward the enemy's.

Zeek had know something was out their because his horse had warned him. When his horse gave him the warning Zeek had his bow prepared. and when he got it prepared he seen the Kobolds on both sides of the party. Zeek had an arrow knocked and shot 2 arrows to the left side and 1 to the right, Both arrows on the left were aimed at 2 kobold's necks and the one on the right was aimed for the heart

Blade hears something in the woods along the trail he senses and strong energy so he knew it was an animal of some-sort. He prepares to battle then sees one come out of the woods notices its smaller than him. interesting he thought soon more gathered around him. were'd you little guys come from? he mumbled before anything else he felt a massive surge of energy there was more...... yes and there was a large one of them hmm... one of them attacks him WWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAA he yelled as it bit him he pulled it off and went to punt it like a football whose next? he asked

Flint having heard the warning was quickly alerted to the presence of the kobolds he took a quick look around to locate them and then charged at one on the right side planting his boot in its chest and taking it straight to the ground. meanwhile flint thought to him self "ill have to watch my own back on this one i dont trust them."
